How To Set Up A 60 Inch In Ground Basketball Hoop

Hoops are great for having in your yard and a fun way to get some exercise. However, not everyone can afford an outdoor basketball hoop for their backyard. That's why there is now a new option that's much easier on the wallet: the 60-inch in-ground basketball hoop!

If you're looking to start playing basketball indoors, a 60″ in-ground basketball hoop is a great option.

You can set it up relatively easy by following these steps:

Measure the inside radius of your doorjamb. This is the measurement that will be used to mark where the hoop should sit on the doorjamb.

Cut a piece of metal or wood to this size and screw it to the doorjamb using screws. The top of the hoop should be level with the top of the doorjamb.

Measure down from the top of the hoop to where you want it to sit on your floor and make a mark. This is your "base" measurement.

Use a level to make sure that the hoop is sitting level on the base measure, and then screw in the bolts that hold it in place.

Play some ball and enjoy your new indoor basketball court!

Tips and Tricks:

In order to shoot a good shot from the basketball hoop, you need to know a few tips and tricks.

  • First, you need to keep your hands close to the ball. This will help you control the shot and reduce the amount of time you have to make a decision.
  • Secondly, you should always keep your feet shoulder-width apart. This will give you more stability while shooting and make it easier for you to hit the ball with power.
  • Lastly, try to shoot as straight as possible. This will make it easier for you to hit the hoop from any angle.
